Settings

Customize ScenIQ to your preferences. Manage appearance, security, privacy, notifications, profile, and data.

Accessing Settings

Click Settings in the sidebar or the gear icon in the bottom-left corner. Settings are organized into tabs.

Appearance

Control the visual theme of the application:

Light mode — Clean white interface with dark text.
Dark mode — Dark interface with light text, easier on the eyes in low-light environments.

You can also toggle the theme from the sidebar using the Light/Dark Mode button without opening Settings.

The theme toggle in the sidebar provides instant switching between light and dark modes from any page in the app.

Security

Security settings help protect your account:

Two-Factor Authentication — Toggle 2FA on or off for an additional layer of security during login.
API Keys — View, generate, and manage API keys for programmatic access. Each key displays:
- A masked preview of the key.
- Environment label (Production or Test).
- Last-used timestamp.

Keep keys secure

API keys grant full access to your account. Never share them publicly or commit them to version control.

Privacy

Manage how your data is stored:

Data Retention Period — Choose how long ScenIQ retains your meeting recordings and analysis data. Options: 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or Indefinitely.
Auto-Delete Recordings — When enabled, original meeting recordings are automatically deleted after the retention period. Extracted tasks and summaries are preserved.

Notifications

Control which notifications you receive:

Notification	Description
Analysis Complete	Notified when a meeting finishes processing and tasks are ready.
New Tasks Created	Notified when new tasks are created (manually or via AI) in your teams.
Integration Sync	Notified when an integration syncs data or encounters an error.
Weekly Summary	A weekly digest of meeting activity, task progress, and team metrics.

Toggle each notification type on or off independently.

Profile

Update your personal information:

Username — Read-only. Set during registration.
Full Name — Your display name across the platform.
Email — Used for notifications and account recovery.
Time Zone — Affects how dates and times are displayed.
Logout — Sign out of the current session.

Data Management

The Data tab provides two powerful actions:

Export All Data — Download a complete archive of your meetings, tasks, and analysis results.
Delete All Data — Permanently remove all your data from ScenIQ. This action is irreversible.

Danger zone

The "Delete All Data" action permanently removes all your meetings, tasks, and team data. This cannot be undone. Export your data first if you need a backup.

System Health

While not in the Settings page itself, the sidebar displays a system health indicator next to your user profile:

Green — All systems operational.
Yellow — Checking system status.
Red — A service is unhealthy (database or worker).

Hover over the indicator to see detailed status for the database and worker services. The health check runs automatically every 30 seconds, or you can click to force a manual check.
